There are several function of
teacher in teaching in learning process. Please explain them!

We know that as a teacher should be
profesional. When can the teacher be called profesional? Write your detail
explanation!

Profession is a job that requires
training and mastery of the knowledge
and expertise. Usually a profession has setrification and licenses to
specific areas of the profession. Profession’s work but not all the work is
profession, as a profession has its own characteristics that distinguish it
from other work. The example of profession are teacher, doctor, lawyer,
policeman and etc.

The function of the teacher in teaching and learning process,
as follow :
o Teachers as educator
As
an educator, teacher must have a certain personal quality standards such as
responsibility, authority and independent.
o Teachers as a teacher
As a
teacher, teachers must helping learners to learn something unknown. In this
situation, teachers are required to be
more skilled at motivating, making ilustrations, define, analyze, providing a
varied, adapting teaching methods and make learning more meaningful.
o Teachers as a mentors
As a
mentor, teacher must lan learning that the lessons more effective and can be
made a target of achieving, other
than that the teacher should give
guidance so that learners do not
experience the confusion of the material
that has been submitted.
o Teachers as a trainer or coach
As a
trainer, teachers must providing a simple repitition and understanding to the
learners about learning meterial.
o Teachers as an adviser
As
an adviser, teachers must understand the mental/psychological learnes,
understand and explore issues of learners and provide solutions and services to
the problems they face.
o Teachers as a model
As a
model, teachers should give a good example
to students, because every word (of speech), teacher behavior and
clothing are always the center of learners attention.
o Teacher as a culminator
As a
culminator, teacher must realign understanding by making a conclusion about the material that has been
taught that can be made by teachers or learners.

The teacher can be called
professional when he/she was able to become educators, teachers, counselors,dicipline and can
provide a good example for their students then the teacher must master and
understand the material that will be taught because it could indirectly lead to
morale and trust in teachers self so that teacher become more creative and
innovative and the results of the leaning process become more leverage.
